WEST PLAINS, Mo.– Several offices at Missouri State University-West Plains will have extended hours Saturday, Aug. 20, and Monday, Aug. 22, to accommodate students with last minute business for the 2011 fall semester.
Offices that will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 20, include admissions, the business office, financial aid, registration and records, Student Advisement and Academic Support (SAAS) Center and student services.
These same offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, to give students the opportunity to register for classes and complete other paperwork involved in the registration process during the first week of classes.
The Drago College Store will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20; 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22; and 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23.
In addition, the Garnett Library will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 20, and from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, to accommodate students, library officials said.
University officials said these special extended office hours will be a good time for students to purchase text books and school supplies, check on financial aid matters, get another copy of their class schedule, visit with advisers, and complete the admissions and registration process.
Classes begin Aug. 22. Students have until Friday, Aug. 26, to register for classes during the late registration period.
