LACY MILL, West Plains, received the Outstanding Student Award for Associate of Arts/Associate of Applied Science degree graduates at Missouri State University-West Plains’ commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 18, at the West Plains Civic Center. The award recognizes a graduate from either the AA or AAS programs who exhibits academic excellence, interest and enthusiasm in learning, conscientiousness, academic honesty, a willingness to participate and help others in class, and exceptional university and community service. Mill graduated with an Associate of Arts in General Studies, Associate of Applied Science in Child and Family Development and Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development degrees during Saturday’s commencement.
