THE STUDENT VETERANS ORGANIZATION (SVO) at Missouri State University-West Plains raised $341 for cancer research through its participation in the annual Howell County Relay for Life Sept. 14 in West Plains. The team consisted of students, faculty and family members who wanted to show their support for the group’s adviser Veronica Mays, coordinator of academic advisement at Missouri State-West Plains, and others who are battling cancer.
