WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Students, faculty and staff at Missouri State University-West Plains rang in the holiday season Tuesday, Dec. 10, with the eighth annual “Lighting of the Tree” ceremony hosted by the Future Alumni Organization (FAO) in the Lybyer Technology Center.
Student organizations were asked to create ornaments for the tree, and the ceremony itself included caroling, a holiday greeting from Director of Development Joe Kammerer, the lighting of the tree, and hot cocoa and cookies for refreshments.
