WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Officials at Missouri State University-West Plains have extended the deadline to register for 2014 spring semester classes.
Due to recent extreme weather conditions which caused the campus’ closure for several days during the registration period, students now have until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, to enroll in classes for spring. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this final opportunity to complete the enrollment process.
Officials also reminded the university will be open extended hours Saturday, Jan. 11, and Monday, Jan. 13, to accommodate students with last-minute business for the 2014 spring semester. Offices that will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday include admissions, the business office, financial aid, registration and records, Advisement and Academic Coaching Center for Empowering Student Success (AACCESS), student services and the Veterans Center. These same offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday.
The Drago College Store will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, and 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13.
In addition, the Garnett Library will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 11, and from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, to accommodate students, library officials said.
