WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Area residents can swim for just $1 from 4 to 8 p.m. every Monday during the month of June at the West Plains Civic Center pool.
Keri Elrod, aquatics and wellness coordinator in the University/Community Programs (U/CP) Department at Missouri State University-West Plains, said anyone age two and over will be admitted to the pool for $1 on June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Children under age two will be admitted free.
Those taking advantage of this special offering should know that aquatic toys will not be allowed in the pool and food will not be allowed in the pool area.
Elrod said university officials are offering “Dollar Nights” as a way to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer.
