THE CITY OF WEST PLAINS has been recognized as a member of the Missouri State University Founders Club at the Bronze Medallion level for its “significant” contributions to the Missouri State-West Plains campus. The club, established in 1983, recognizes “those significant donors whose financial support provides and encourages many aspects of higher education for Missouri State University.” Individuals, businesses, foundations and organizations which make a minimum commitment of $10,000 in cash, securities or real or personal property to the Missouri State University Foundation meet the criteria for membership, according to university officials. Those receiving Bronze Medallion status must have given at least $25,000, officials added.
