    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Members of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) at Missouri State University-West Plains will host a Red Cross Bloodmobile blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, in rooms 104 and 105 of the Lybyer Technology Center, 605 W. Main St.

  • Student nurses provide gifts for Bridges Program

    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Members of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) at Missouri State University-West Plains recently provided gifts for the Bridges Program, a local service that ensures school-age children in West Plains and surrounding rural areas receive items they need to be successful in an academic setting.
    MEMBERS OF THE STUDENT Nurses Association (SNA) at Missouri State University-West Plains recently provided gifts for the Bridges Program, a local service that ensures school-age children in West Plains and surrounding rural areas receive items they need to be successful in an academic setting. From their donations, SNA members were able to create 20 gifts for students between the ages of 13 and 18. Members said they feel it is necessary to not only help the community with health-related issues, but other aspects, as well. They also thanked everyone who helped make the gifts possible.     WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Several members of the Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) student business organization at Missouri State University-West Plains placed in contests at the 2016 PBL Show-Me Leadership Conference Oct. 15 at Silver Dollar City in Branson.

    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Nineteen students from the Agriculture Department at Missouri State University-West Plains recently placed in competitions at the 2016 Missouri Postsecondary Agriculture Student (PAS) Organization’s annual conference and competition Nov. 9-11 in West Plains.

  • Board approves management agreement for Shoe Factory Lofts

    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Officials at Missouri State University-West Plains will begin managing the Shoe Factory Lofts, 665 Missouri Ave., in West Plains beginning Jan. 1, 2017, according to terms of a facilities management agreement that was approved through resolution Wednesday by members of the Missouri State University Board of Governors at their executive committee meeting in Springfield.
