Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains?
I chose to attend because of the location of the university. This college is located between my grandmother and mothers’ house. It’s also very affordable and friendly.
How would you describe your experience here?
My experience here is amazing and continues to be so. I experience new things constantly around here. Instructors are always friendly and willing to help with anything, along with other staff and faculty.
What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains?
My favorite thing is the Student Recreation Center. I play ball there almost every day.

How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains?
The faculty and staff have helped me become familiar with the surrounding area. I’m new not only to this town but to a different school entirely, specifically, college.
How did you choose your major?
I felt that I wanted to help people who can’t really help themselves as much. I have always wanted to be a therapist, so people can understand that they are wanted in this world just like everyone else. I want to help them overcome any obstacle that holds them back from being the best version of themselves.
What have you learned that will help you succeed in your education, career or life?
I have learned about different personalities and diseases, so that I can better understand what my career path holds for me. I will be able to professionally aid those in need.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan on transferring to Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. I want to continue my path to becoming the best therapist I can be. I feel like everyone in this world deserves to live through their personal issues to see the better and bigger picture. To me, the world has a little something to offer for everyone.
