3 receive Outstanding Student Awards at commencement 2018 May 21 by University CommunicationsMADISON WIEHE, West Plains, and Amanda Jones, Licking, both received the Outstanding Student Award for Associate of Arts/Associate of Science/Associate of Applied Science degree graduates at Missouri State University-West Plains’ commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 19, at the West Plains Civic Center. The award recognizes a graduate or graduates from either the AA, AS or AAS programs who exhibits academic excellence, interest and enthusiasm in learning, conscientiousness, academic honesty, a willingness to participate and help others in class, and exceptional university and community service. Wiehe graduated with an Associate of Arts in General Studies degree, and Jones graduated with an Associate of Arts in Health Professions degree.
