Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains?
I chose MSU-WP because West Plains is my hometown and I wanted to stay close to family and friends.
How would you describe your experience here?
Very wonderful. I have met a bunch of friends and teachers who have got me through to where I am today.
What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains?
Seeing Mary Kellum every day and the free events that we get to go to as college students at the civic center.
What has been your favorite course?
Fundamentals of Public Speaking (COM 115) or The Language of Music (MUS 241).
How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains?
Very well. They have helped me with answering questions and getting through my assignments and homework.
How did you choose your major?
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher since elementary school, so I decided to follow my dreams. I have always heard that I would be a great one.
What have you learned from your time at Missouri State-West Plains that will help you succeed in your education, career or life?
Follow your dreams and it will lead you on the right path.
What are your plans after graduation?
Take teacher education classes through Missouri State Outreach here in West Plains. Then I plan to become a teacher.
