WEST PLAINS, Mo.– Regular registration for current and readmitted students at Missouri State University-West Plains is currently underway and will continue through Jan. 16, 2012, university officials remind.
Although Jan. 16 is the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday and university offices will be closed that day, students can register online through the Grizzly Den, http://grizzlyden.missouristate.edu 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The 2012 spring semester begins Jan. 17.
Over 340 classes are being offered during the spring semester. Courses include those available online and at the Missouri State-West Plains campus in Mountain Grove. A complete listing of classes can be found online at http://grizzlyden.missouristate.edu/schedule, or students can pick up a printed copy of the schedule on campus at various locations or request a mailed copy by calling the admissions office at 417-255-7955.
If they have not done so, current and readmitted students need to meet with their advisor and receive the alternate PIN (personal identification number) required for registration. They can then register online through the Grizzly Den or in the registration and records office in Cass Hall, 515 Cass Ave, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
New students or transfer students with less than 10 credit hours need to attend the STudent Advising and Registration (STAR) Orientation session scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012. STAR is designed to provide students with an introduction to the university and its services, policies and procedures, and to assist students in registering for their first semester. To reserve a space in the session, contact the Student Advisement and Academic Support (SAAS) Center at 417-255-7222. New students who do not attend STAR will have to register during the late registration period Jan. 17-23.
