WEST PLAINS, Mo. – A Vahan 14 karat gold, sterling silver and diamond bracelet valued at $2,125 and donated by Carter’s Jewel Chest in Mtn. Home, Ark., will be one of the many items up for sale at Missouri State University-West Plains’ 19th Annual Auction set for Friday, April 5, at the West Plains Opera House.
Tickets for the 1960s rock n’ roll-themed event, entitled “Be True to Your School,” are still available for $35 per person, organizers said, adding it includes a mingling meal, as well as many opportunities to bid on practical items, experience packages and more. Guests also may reserve a table for eight for $350, they added.
The event, which is being sponsored by Café 37, will begin at 6 p.m. with a silent auction featuring themed baskets, gift certificates for local restaurants and businesses, and a wide variety of practical and fun items, organizers said. The silent auction will be followed by a live auction at 7:45 p.m., organizers added.
