WEST PLAINS, Mo. – The nursing faculty at Missouri State University-West Plains have scheduled an informational seminar for residents in Mountain Grove and surrounding areas interested in applying to the university’s Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree program for the fall 2014 semester.
The seminar will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Shannon Hall, 401 East 17th St., in Mountain Grove and will cover both the ASN Regular Track and LPN-to-RN Track programs, according to Director of Nursing Amy Ackerson.
The seminar is free and will provide information on nursing as a career, educational preparation for nursing, and a description of the classroom and clinical components of the Missouri State University-West Plains nursing program. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. No appointment or pre-registration is necessary to attend.
