OFFICIALS WITH MISSOURI STATE University-West Plains’ Information Technology Department installed 18 computers Monday morning, April 21, at Koshkonong High School for students there to use for the next six months. The school’s computers were destroyed in a March 17 fire that began in the electrical breaker box in the computer lab. Since that time, student access to computers has been extremely limited, according to Jaime Ball, the high school business and computer teacher. “The fire put us at a standstill,” she said, explaining students were unable to complete Internet-based work or multimedia projects that were in progress at the time of the fire. “This saves us,” she added.
