  • Kate Stepanova inducted to Grizzly Athletics Hall of Fame

    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Officials at Missouri State University-West Plains inducted former Grizzly Volleyball standout Jekaterina “Kate” Stepanova (2008-10) to the Grizzly Sports Hall of Fame during the Grizzly Volleyball team’s home opener Friday evening, Sept. 9, at the West Plains Civic Center.

  • Grizzlies drop home opener to Iowa Western

    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – The Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball team’s hopes for a win in their season home opener Friday night, Sept. 9, were dashed when fourth ranked Iowa Western Community College from Council Bluffs took three of four sets at the West Plains Civic Center. The final score was 20-25, 25-15, 26-28, 20-25.

  • 2016 Grizzly Volleyball team will be ‘a fun team to watch’

    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – With their athleticism and skill base, fans of Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball will have a fun team to watch this season, according to Head Coach Paula Wiedemann.
    THE 2016 MISSOURI STATE University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball team will open its home season at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, against Iowa Western Community College, Council Bluffs, in the West Plains Civic Center arena following the annual Grizzly Booster Club Fall Picnic, which begins at 5 p.m. in the civic center exhibit hall.   • Grizzlies nearly upset No. 1 team in the nation at Utah tournament

    SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball team almost pulled one of the biggest upsets of the year Saturday when they came close to defeating the defending national champion and No. 1 junior college team in the nation.
