THESE FOUR STUDENTS at Missouri State University-West Plains were chosen to serve internships as part of the university’s study abroad program at Liaoning Normal University in Dalian, China. The quartet, all of whom voiced their eagerness to go at the time this photo was taken, will leave Feb. 14 and return June 24. Not only will the students continue their own personal studies, they also will teach Chinese students English, university officials said. All said their interest in other cultures and the realization they live in a global society prompted them to apply for the program. From left are Liz Drumright, Mtn.
