BETTER THAN AN EASTER EGG is this Big Green Egg charcoal grill donated by Westlake Ace Hardware 101, 1401 Mitchell Rd., to Missouri State University-West Plains’ annual auction, set for April 11 at the West Plains Opera House in downtown West Plains. The grill is one of many items that will be up for bid in the event’s 20th year. Proceeds will go toward two projects – the Tuttle Amphitheater and upgrades to the Garnett Library. Reserved tables of eight are on sale now for $350. Open theater-style seating also is available for $35 per person.
