Grizzlies drop heart breaker in Tennessee

Grizzlies sign 1st volleyball recruit for 2017 season

FIRST SIGNING FOR 2017 SEASON – Paula Wiedemann, head coach of the Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball team, picked up her first recruit for the 2017 season this week when Missouri Class 3A All-State honorable mention honoree Koty Cooper of East Newton High School in Granby inked her letter of intent. Cooper racked up numerous honors her senior season, including Big 8 Conference Player of the Year, while helping her Lady Patriots to a 17-15 season record. “We are excited to have Koty as a part of our incoming freshman class. She is athletic and continues to improve in her ability to play the game. Her size and strength make her a presence on the floor, and we look forward to watching her grow with our freshmen. She is a great start to our 2017 recruiting class,” Wiedemann said.
