WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Renovation of Hass-Darr Hall at Missouri State University-West Plains will be the topic of the Friends of the Garnett Library monthly luncheon meeting Friday, March 10, on the Missouri State-West Plains campus.
Chancellor Drew Bennett and Director of Business and Support Services Scott Schneider will discuss the history of the project, including the building’s history as West Plains’ former post office, the university’s acquisition of the property, the process in determining its use by the university, and the current status of the project in terms of its contractor and estimated construction start and completion dates. In addition, they will discuss how the project is being funded and ways area residents can contribute.
The luncheon and meeting will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in rooms 104 and 105 on the lower level of the Lybyer Technology Center. Parking is available in the lot off Cass Avenue on the north side of the building.
