MEMBERS OF THE JOHN T. KIRK VFW Post 1828 in West Plains recently donated $1,000 and penned a letter in support of the Veterans Center at Missouri State University-West Plains. The center, which provides a variety of services to support veteran students, will be relocated from the Garnett Library to Hass-Darr Hall, the former post office building on Garfield Avenue, once renovations on the facility are complete. University officials said they would welcome donations and letters of support from other veterans organizations as they work toward the $250,000 goal for the center.
