GRACE STUMBAUGH, a 6-foot, 1-inch middle attacker from St. Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball team for the upcoming season. Stumbaugh was a honorable mention selection for the Class 2A All-State team during her senior season, and she earned I-70 All-Conference and All-Region honors her junior and senior years. “Grace can be a force at the net, and we are excited she will be on our side,” Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paula Wiedemann said. “Her ability to take swiings from anywhere makes us more versatile, and her presence on the floor makes a difference, as well. She has power and will be a lot of fun to watch. She adds to the depth of our incoming freshman class, and we could not be more excited to have Grace become a Grizzly.” On hand for the signing ceremony were, seated from left, Stumbaugh’s father, Rick; Stumbaugh; and her mother, Diana; standing, Wiedemann; St. Paul Lutheran Head Coach Aaron Marsh; and Grizzly Volleyball Assistant Coach Briana Walsh.
