WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Several faculty members were recognized for receiving promotions and/or tenure during the past year at Missouri State University-West Plains at the university’s Employee Recognition Luncheon Jan. 19 at the West Plains Civic Center.

• Amy Ackerson, promoted to Assistant Professor of Nursing
• Lisa Wade, promoted to Assistant Professor of Nursing and granted tenure
• Brenda Smith, promoted to Assistant Professor of Child and Family Development
• Ana Estrella-Riollano, promoted to Assistant Professor of Biology/Biomedical Sciences and granted tenure
