WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Calling all Missouri State University alumni! The Springfield and West Plains campuses are teaming up again for the “Bears United” reception set for 6 to 8 p.m. May 8 at Wages Brewing Company, 1382 Bill Virdon Blvd., in West Plains.

Attendees will rub shoulders with fellow Bears, Grizzlies, and Missouri State System President Clif Smart, as well as, Missouri State-West Plains Chancellor Drew Bennett. In addition, attendees will get the chance to make new friends and catch up with old ones while enjoying some delicious food. Door prizes also will be given away. 

“As an alumna myself, nothing excites me more than the opportunity to potentially see people I haven’t seen in years,” said Missouri State-West Plains Assistant Director of Development Amber Carr. “It’s going to be a fantastic night full of fun, food and friends!”

While the event, hosted by Springfield’s Alumni Relations Department, is targeted to alumni, all university supporters are welcome to attend.
