Area residents are invited to attend the annual state of the university address by Missouri State University System President Clif Smart.

The presentation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in Melton Hall Room 112 on the Missouri State-West Plains campus.

Smart and Missouri State-West Plains Chancellor Shirley Lawler both will speak at the event.

Following their presentations, a reception will take place at 4 p.m. in Melton Hall Room 116. Those attending are invited to drop by, visit with Smart and Lawler and enjoy some refreshments.
