I would have to say most of the instructors are very knowledgeable and very helpful.
What has been your favorite course?
That is hard to say. I had a couple of classes I really liked. The first one was Dr. Jason McCollom’s US History to 1877. The way he taught the course, it really had me liking history. The second one was Dr. Linda Wulff-Risner’s Animal and Plant Science. The course really made me think outside of the box.
How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains?
It is so easy to talk to the faculty and staff. They are willing to help you find the resources you need to complete your work.
How did you choose your major?
I wanted to find something that had to do within the Agriculture degree, that had to do with land management and helping farmers do their jobs.
What have you learned the Agriculture Department that will help you succeed in your education, career or life?
The Agriculture Department taught me that agriculture is never ending.
What are your plans after graduation?
After I complete my Associate of Science here at West Plains, I am planning on transferring to Missouri State in Springfield to complete my Bachelor of Science.
