Several faculty members were recognized for receiving promotions and/or tenure during the past year at Missouri State University-West Plains at the university’s Employee Recognition Luncheon Jan. 24 at the West Plains Civic Center.
Faculty receiving promotions included:
- Dr. Joseph “Kip” Rugutt, Professor of Chemistry
- Tresa Ryan, Assistant Professor of Health Information Technology
- Lacey Campbell, Instructor of Nursing
- Kirsten Cotter, Instructor of Nursing
Faculty who were granted tenure include:
- Dr. Jason McCollom, assistant professor of history
- Dr. Benjamin Wheeler, assistant professor of biology
- Lindsay Hill, assistant professor of nursing
They were congratulated by Missouri State University System President Clif Smart and Missouri State-West Plains Chancellor Shirley Lawler.
