Annual chili supper raises more than $1,000 for Garnett Library

The event took place Feb. 22 as part of the Grizzlies annual homecoming celebrations.

The Friends of the Garnett Library partnered with Wendy’s of West Plains to raise more than $1,000 to benefit the library at the group’s annual chili supper.

The event took place Feb. 22 at the West Plains Civic Center Magnolia Room. It was attended by approximately 120 people.

The supper was among several activities taking place prior to the annual homecoming game between the Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Basketball team and the Moberly Area Community College Greyhounds.
