What do you find most rewarding about working at Missouri State-West Plains?
“For me, I love the family atmosphere here at Missouri State-West Plains. Everyone on campus is willing to pitch in and help each other. It is a great team effort, and everyone works well together. The environment that has been created here is one that truly cares about our students and genuinely wants to see them succeed.”
What advice would you give a current student about succeeding academically in college?
“I would tell our current students that they are fortunate to have people on campus who really care about their success. As a student, they are not just a number in a classroom and that we have faculty and staff who really want them to succeed, but at the same time, the student has to do his or her part and ask for help when needed.”
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
“I enjoy being a part of my kids’ lives, especially when it comes to the sports they are involved in. I used to golf, but now I figure, if I have time to golf, I would rather take my boys to go hit baseballs or shoot some hoops. I need to enjoy as much time as possible with them now because they grow up fast!”
