Misty Davis has been selected for the 2020 Part-Time Employee of the Year at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP).

Davis, a part-time administrative assistant in the physical plant department, began working for MSU-WP on March 18, 2005.

The award, in its first year, recognizes part-time employees who:

• strive to do their jobs well on a daily basis
• go above and beyond the call of duty in a special situation
• have contributed in a significant way to the success of the university

University officials said they received several outstanding nominations for the inaugural award, which made the selection of this year’s recipient difficult.
