Several faculty members at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) received appointments, promotions or tenure during the 2020-2021 academic year.
They were recognized recently during an Employee Appreciation Picnic at the campus’ amphitheater.
Those receiving promotions include:
- Dr. Jason McCollom, promoted to associate professor
- Jay Towell, promoted to associate professor
- Jerry Trick, promoted to associate professor
- Dr. Benjamin Wheeler, promoted to associate professor
Those receiving appointments were:
- Jessica Barton, instructor
- Sheila Rather, instructor
Those who were granted tenure include:
- Dr. Michael Orf
- Dasha Russell
- Tresa Ryan
The honorees were congratulated by MSU-WP Interim Chancellor Dennis Lancaster and Missouri State University System President Clif Smart.
