New officers for Friends of the Garnett Library announced

The organization helps raise awareness of the services offered by the Garnett Library and its needs.

Officers for the Friends of the Garnett Library Executive Committee for the 2021-2022 academic year have been chosen.

They include:

Vice president Sally Watkins
Past president Susie Warden
Secretary Janet McClure
Program chair Dr. Dennis Lancaster
Events chair Miriam Ward
Publicity and projects chair Kay Garrett
Advisory member Carol Silvey

Formed in 1992, the organization helps raise awareness of the services offered by the library and its needs. They meet the second Friday of each month from September through April.
