Internationally acclaimed artist Bolagi Ogunwo presented a “Lunch and Learn” program on painting Sept. 23 at Missouri State University-West Plains.
The presentation was given in the Carol Silvey Student Union at Hass-Darr Hall.
Students, faculty, staff and guests stopped by to watch Ogunwo give his colorful interpretation of a campus scene outside one of the building’s windows using a putty knife as his paint brush.
As he painted Ogunwo explained his painting technique and what inspires his artwork.
The piece will be hung at a to-be-determined location on campus.
Ogunwo is a long-time friend of MSU-WP Business and Support Services Director Crockett Oaks.
