Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains?
I chose Missouri State-West Plains to get the feeling of living on a college campus while using my A+ scholarship.
How would you describe your experience here?
My experience here has been nothing but warm and welcoming. I have met some great people and made a lot of friends along the way. Not to mention my professors have been great.
What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains?
My favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains has been the student organizations like Christian Campus House. CCH is like another family and is such a great support system.
What has been your favorite course?
My favorite course has been Writing I with Professor Anthony Priest because I am free to express my thoughts.
How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains?
Faculty and staff have helped me feel more at home and made adjusting to college life much easier.
What have you learned from the writing department that will help you succeed in your education, career or life?
I have improved a lot on my writing from general studies. I have increased the quality and quantity of my writing here. I was once scared of a 1,000-word paper, but now it comes naturally.
What are your plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation would be to move to Springfield’s Missouri State campus and continue with my bachelor’s degree.
