The partnership benefits Tivity’s Prime Fitness and SilverSneaker program members.

2022 June 27 by University Communications

Officials with the University/Community Programs (U/CP) Department at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) has joined forces with Tivity Health to provide pool and fitness center services to members of Tivity’s Prime Fitness and Silver Sneakers programs.

The partnership provides Prime® Fitness and SilverSneaker® members access to the West Plains Civic Center pool and fitness center, which is operated by the U/CP Department’s aquatics and wellness program, at no additional cost.

“We are excited to partner with Tivity to open our facilities to its Prime Fitness and SilverSneakers members,” said Keri Elrod, coordinator of U/CP’s aquatics and wellness programs. “Being active is such an important part of our overall health, no matter what age, and the fitness center has many opportunities for area residents to stay healthy through a variety of activities.”

The fitness center at the civic center is open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. The pool is open 6 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
