Noah Sonie will amaze area residents with his amazing illusions when he takes center stage at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at the West Plains Civic Center theater.

The performance is sponsored by the University/Community Programs (U/CP) Department at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP). Tickets are $10 each and available through the civic center box office, 110 St. Louis St.

Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sonie’s performance style blends numerous mediums including magic, mind reading and hypnosis to create an abstract and engaging show that will leave an audience laughing and astonished. Sonie brings an energetic, youthful and creative presence to any event, according to information posted on his website, NoahMagic.com.

In 2021, he made his national television debut on Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us” on the CW network, prompting Penn Jillette to call Sonie an “incredibly unique, genuine performer.”

“Noah Sonie is a multi-talented performer whose showmanship and illusions create a funny and personable show that will entertain any audience,” said U/CP Director Brenda Polyard. “With his energy and charm, Noah Sonie will leave you excited to see what he will do next.”

For more information about Sonie’s performance, call the U/CP office at 417-255-7966 or visit the department’s website.
