Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains? I chose MSU-West Plains because it is local, and I knew they had a good child and family development program.
How would you describe your experience here? My overall experience at MSU-West Plains has been very positive and uplifting. There have been many challenges to overcome, but with hard work and determination, I was able to succeed.
What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains? My favorite thing about MSU-West Plains has been the many connections I have made with the faculty and students, as well as some professionals within my career field.
What has been your favorite course? I would have to say that psychology was my favorite course because it was very interesting, and I loved learning about the human mind.
How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains? The faculty and staff have always been helpful with any issues or concerns that I have had and have answered my questions promptly.
How did you choose your major? I chose child and family development because I have always enjoyed working with children and have a great interest in social work.
What have you learned from Child and Family Development Department that will help you succeed in your education, career or life? The Child and Family Development Department has taught me many valuable skills and has provided me with many resources to help me succeed in my career as well as in my personal life.
What are your plans after graduation? I plan to further my education by achieving my bachelor’s degree so that I can fulfill my dream of becoming a case worker with the Children’s Division of Family Services.
