Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains? I felt like Missouri State-West Plains would help me grow and help me continue with my education.
How would you describe your experience here? My experience here has been amazing, getting to meet new people, doing activities around the school, anything you need help with there’s always people to help like teachers, RAs (resident assistants) and more.
What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains? My favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains are the sports teams, being able to watch and play and having fun.
What has been your favorite course? And why? My favorite course is IDS 110 (Interdisciplinary Studies). It showed me I can learn new things and get one step closer to graduating and achieving my life goals.
How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains? They help me a lot with any assignments and any problems that I have. They are quickly to help without any hesitation.
How did you choose your major? The reason I chose the general studies degree is because I want to become a basketball coach/physical therapist so I can help young people take care of their body and maintain so they can play on any sports team.
What have you learned at Missouri State-West Plains that will help you succeed in your education, career or life? You can choose the classes that will help you make it far in your career/life and to have a better lifestyle.
As a first-generation college student, what are some challenges you have faced? I’ve had some academic and financial concerns.
What are your plans after graduation? My plan after graduation is to continue my basketball career and to keep pursuing my education.
