Officials with MFA Oil recently awarded a $2,000 grant to Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) to support the university’s agriculture programs.
University officials said the money will be used to purchase simulation equipment for the animal science program to provide hands-on training opportunities for students.
University officials thanked Debbie Branson, director of foundation relations with the Missouri State University Foundation in Springfield, for securing the grant for the campus.
Several representatives from MFA Oil were on hand to present the check, including delegate Randy Pace, West Plains Plant Manager Matt Warren, Southeast District Manager Trevor Honeycutt and Southeast District Operations Manager MG Behrend.
