Officials at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) announce the addition of a new healthcare supply chain management certificate option to its Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology degree program.
The certificate has been approved by the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education (CBHE) and the Higher Learning Commission, MSU-WP’s accrediting agency.

Graduates can pursue employment in diverse settings such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home health agencies, reference laboratory facilities, and mental health institutions, among others.

Offered online for flexibility
This certificate program is delivered entirely online, providing flexibility and accessibility for students balancing academic pursuits with existing commitments. Consisting of four courses, each carrying three credit hours, the curriculum is structured to ensure comprehensive coverage of essential topics.
During fall semesters, students will take Introduction to Healthcare Supply Chain (HSC 100) and Healthcare Supply Chain Planning (HSC 125). During spring semesters, they will delve into Healthcare Inventory Management (HSC 150) and Healthcare Logistics and Innovation (HSC 175).
