All are invited to attend the debut performance of Missouri State University-West Plains’ (MSU-WP) University/Community Band Oct. 7 on the MSU-WP campus.

The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the campus’ Commons area between Hass-Darr and Melton Halls off Garfield Avenue. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the First United Methodist Church Life Center.

Director of Music Rocky Long said audiences can look forward to a Pops concert featuring some of the most beloved music from television theme songs, movie soundtracks and stage performances.

The concert is free; however, donations will be accepted, Long said.

Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs.
