The annual report on the Friends of the Garnett Library and an update on the Garnett Library will be the topics of the organization’s meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the Garnett Library, 304 W. Trish Knight St., in West Plains.

Friends President Carla Neff will give the annual report on the Friends activities during the past year, and Director of Library Services Rebekah McKinney will update those attending on the activities of the Garnett Library, organizers said.

Cost of the lunch is $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat should make a reservation by calling 417-255-7940 or emailing FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu by Monday, April 28.

“Everyone is welcome to attend,” organizers said. “We welcome you as a guest, or you can find out about joining the organization at the meeting.”
