Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains? I chose Missouri State-West Plains it was close to him and the value I will obtain from a quality education.
How would you describe your experience here? Overall my experience has been great. I am extremely happy to have chosen this path after high school.
What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains? From students to faculty and staff, everyone has been nice and helpful.
What has been your favorite course? And why? U.S. History. I am a history buff and appreciated how Dr. McCollom made the class super enjoyable.
How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains? Faculty and staff have always been super supportive and have been understanding during times where I am unable to attend a class due to inclement weather and my commute.
How did you choose your major? I was unsure at first so started with the general studies degree as I explored potential career paths and believe I have settled to become a Natural Resources major when I transfer to another school so general studies was the perfect choice.
What have you learned from student organizations you’re involved in that will help you succeed in your education, career or life? The student ambassador program has helped me learn to network and build connections with people that I may not have met if I didn’t apply for the program.
What are your plans after graduation? Transfer to Missouri State-Springfield and become a Natural Resources major.
