

WEST PLAINS MAYOR Jack Pahlmann signed a proclamation declaring Saturday, Feb. 22, as National TRiO Day in West Plains to recognize the services provided by the federal TRiO Student Support Services program at Missouri State University-West Plains. Through TRiO, qualified students receive tutoring, personal skills training, academic and financial counseling, assistance in transferring to a four-year institution, and financial literacy training in an effort to improve academic success.
