JENNIFER WALKER, who was promoted from financial aid counselor to financial aid coordinator at Missouri State University-West Plains on Jan. 1, received a Staff Excellence in University Service Award during the annual Staff Service Awards program Jan. 11 at Missouri State University in Springfield. The award is given to full-time staff members “who have made significant contributions to the university community. They strive to do their jobs well on a daily basis, go above and beyond the call of duty in a special situation and have contributed in a significant way to the success of the university.” Above, Walker receives a personalized plaque and $1,500 cash award from Missouri State University System President Clif Smart.
