THE FRIENDS OF THE GARNETT LIBRARY partnered with Wendy’s of West Plains and Southern Bank of West Plains to raise more than $1,000 to benefit the library at the group’s annual chili supper Jan. 20 at the West Plains Civic Center exhibit hall. The supper, which was attended by approximately 140 people, was among several activities taking place prior to the annual homecoming game between the Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Basketball team and Three Rivers College of Poplar Bluff.
