CFD students participate in Child Advocacy Day in Jefferson City

The students attended the opening rally and workshops on a variety of topics related to children and families.

Students and faculty from the Child and Family Development Department at Missouri State University-West Plains traveled to Jefferson City April 2 to participate in Child Advocacy Day activities.

They attended the opening rally and workshops on a variety of topics related to children and families.

They also listened in on a round-table discussion, met with local representatives and senators, sat in on legislative sessions, and shared their views and thoughts on issues impacting our region with elected officials.
