James Taylor has been selected for the 2023 Part-Time Employee of the Year at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP).

Taylor, part-time custodian, was recognized as “a very motivated, hardworking individual” who takes pride in his work and is dedicated to maintaining the buildings he’s assigned to.

The award, given at the Jan. 26 Employee Recognition Luncheon, recognizes part-time employees who:

• strive to do their jobs well daily
• those who go above and beyond the call of duty in a special situation
• and those who have contributed in a significant way to the success of the university

Taylor received his award from MSU-WP Chancellor Dennis Lancaster and MSU System President Clif Smart
